Training FAQ
Before you book.
Do I need anything before a Close Protection course?
You’ll need an appropriate Level 3 first aid qualification, valid for at least 12 months. Blue and Red ACT Awareness courses must also be completed at least two weeks before attending. We’ll confirm prerequisites during your interview.
What do I need before the Door Supervisor course?
A valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate is required before the course. Blue and Red ACT Awareness courses must be completed at least two weeks before attending.
Is there an interview?
Yes. Every candidate is interviewed by the Head of Training so we can check the course is suitable and help you prepare.
How many people are on each course?
Courses are limited to eight learners, keeping practical sessions focused and instructor support close at hand.
Is a DBS check needed?
Some courses require a standard DBS check. We’ll explain course-specific requirements and timings during your application.
What time do courses start?
On-site courses at London Oxford Airport start at 08:00. Joining instructions are sent to successful applicants.
